The best is yet to come! Today Fletcher has progressed and is now eating solid foods. He's able to move his arms and has been exercising both arms with a small football to strengthen them. Fletcher has had so many visitors and the overpouring prayers and love from friends, family, Lambuth and the entire community is more than one could have imagined. Thank you!
Pictured are players from Lambuth University awaiting visiting hour for Fletcher. Thank you guys for your support!

ReplyDeleteFletcher! The Bridge Builders staff sends our love and well wishes for a speedy recovery!!! I was just made aware of what happened and I must say was taken aback. I had no idea. But I know you will be just fine and I hear you are in good spirits. You are here for a reason and I am so thankful to have been able to have you as a student. I will spread the word of this blog when I return to work. God bless you, your family, friends, and all those who are taking care of you.

Hello, Fletcher!
ReplyDeleteI just got around to reading Sunday's Commercial Appeal in Memphis, Tennessee. Still in plastic and recognizing it was Sunday's paper, I was just about to throw it out. However, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and told me to read it.
And there you were on the front page. Your story is so phenomenol. But, what's even more phenomenol is your fighting spirit. Keep believing that you will walk again. Your faith in Him will get you there. There will probably be moments when you want to just throw in the towel because the road to full recovery appears to be getting rougher. But, that is where you will find your strength to keep pushing onward.
You will be an overcomer of this minor setback because nothing is too big for God. Judging from some of your comments that were printed and the massive support from your father, my hunch is that you already know this. I don't know you, but I sense your spirit.
Forever in My Prayers,
Sonya
