Fletcher Update - Sept. 16

This morning Fletcher headed to surgery shortly after 7 a.m. He was in good spirits. Parents and Rev. Rogers (an amazing minister from Jackson) prayed with Fletcher before surgery. The surgery will take about an hour. With pre-op and post-op recovery time we are expecting him back to the room around noon today.

    Fletcher -
    You won't remember me but I worked for many years with your Mom at UAB/1st Com/Regions Bank. I moved back to California 5 years ago, so I haven't talked with your Mom for awhile. I remember when she would bring you into the Bank when you were a "little guy" and we would all hover around you because you were always so polite and always had a big smile and a "HI" to everyone. We all felt like we knew you well because your Mom always had so many pictures of you at her desk and her face would always light up when she talked about you. Darlene Ross told me about your accident and I am so very sorry but I truly believe with prayers and hard work you will be on the mend. I will read these blogs everyday so I can keep up with your great progress and will pray for you and your family. From California I'm sending love and good thoughts...Jean Affleck
